Cole Webster

Cole Webster is an artist and emerging museum professional based in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. While completing a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Cole’s work evolved into the design and creation of natural science installations. With that focus, he pursued a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from SUNY Oneonta, specializing in museum exhibit design. He furthered his experience with courses in glass blowing, ceramics, and taxidermy, as well as by volunteering with the Exhibit Design team at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham NC.

Combining a passion for art and natural science, Cole is currently experimenting with botanical-based dyes and alternative photographic processes to compliment the traditional mediums of quilting and woodworking.  Cole’s body of work is marked by ongoing experimentation with different mediums and techniques to explore natural science themes.
